With multiple cropping properties in operation across NSW, mixed farmer Jeremy Bouchier faced an all-too-familiar rural logistics issue: not every site had fixed silo infrastructure. Fertiliser access was inconsistent, transport was time-consuming, and with future property use still up in the air, investing in permanent silos didn’t stack up financially.
To solve this problem, Jeremy made an investment: two AGRIBIN Fertiliser Bins. He was rewarded with reliable, mobile fertiliser storage with increased capacity, built-in augers, and the ability to hold MAP and urea simultaneously. Beyond this, Jeremy found an appreciation for the bins’ stepper cone design as well as their sheer versatility and number of applications to different loads.
Long term, the mobility of the bins allowed Jeremy to transfer between properties based on seasonal demand, and multiple fertiliser bins allowed for purchases when market prices are low, reducing input costs and ensuring product is on hand when needed.
“It was the right price for the job,” Jeremy told us. “Two bins gave us the capacity and auger in one versatile solution.”
Now, with mobile fertiliser storage sorted, Jeremy can adapt to unique property needs without infrastructure constraints. Whether expanding, leasing or rotating crops, the AGRIBIN solution gives him room to move.
